Why a mental health check-up?
We routinely check blood pressure and blood sugar, but rarely pause to ask how we are doing emotionally. A check-up event normalises that question. It gives people a private, low-pressure way to reflect, and to hear that what they are feeling is common.
Early conversations make it easier to get help before difficulties grow, and when a whole workplace, school, or college takes part, it also reduces the stigma of asking.
What to know about check-ups
It is not a diagnosis
A check-up is a confidential screening conversation. It points to what may need attention without labelling anyone.
Participation is private
Individual responses are confidential. Organisers receive overall observations, not personal details.
There is a next step
Where someone could benefit from more support, we guide them towards counselling or a psychiatric consultation.

Why workshops complement individual support
Workshops reach many people at once and give a shared language for talking about stress, burnout, exam pressure, and wellbeing. They do not replace one-to-one counselling, but they often make people more willing to seek it.
